This is a true home-grown variety. We originally bought this variety at a local supermarket, some 15 years ago, and have continued to grow it in our veggie patch every year since then. We don’t quite know which variety it is, but it shows characteristics similar to other varieties in the TURBAN group. We simply call it Husky white; named after where we live. Usually white, but will at times throw out bulbs with purple streaks. Easy to peel and has a nice rounded flavour, which when used raw tends to be somewhat strong. Will store for up to 5 or 6 months.

Orders can be picked up from Huskisson, NSW (address given when time confirmed) or alternatively can be picked up from Kiama Farmers markets (Wednesdays) if we are attending. To organise a suitable pick up time please text or call Stig on 0421 948 085.
